Lead Recorder free trial: what its pages promise

Lead Recorder's home page offers a 14-day free trial with no credit card to start, but there is no permanent free plan. Its pricing page offers a 14-day money-back guarantee on every paid plan, so you read a 14-day trial or money-back guarantee, depending on the page. Paid plans begin at $39 a month, or $390 a year, as read on November 1, 2026. The Lead Recorder review has the full wording.

What runs during the 14 days

Lead Recorder's free lead tracking page says the trial runs at the real limits of the plan you pick, with forms, phone taps and bookings included; each is logged as a lead with its source. Its changelog adds that a new account picks its plan during onboarding. No page says whether the call tracking add-on, $29 a month for logging real phone calls, is part of the trial.

To test the trial, paste the script tag into the head of your pages, submit one form, then tap your own number from a phone. The tap should appear in your feed within seconds; if not, the free script checker shows whether the snippet is on the page.

What happens after day 14

After 14 days you add a card to keep going, and Lead Recorder says nothing renews automatically. Without a card, new tracking pauses while your dashboard and past leads stay readable. The entry plan is Business at $39 a month, or $390 a year; Lead Recorder pricing lists every plan.

Refunds once you pay

The pricing page offers a 14-day money-back guarantee on every paid plan: email within the first 14 days of a paid plan for a refund. The terms, last updated July 2026, say paid plans are billed monthly and give no refunds for partial months. No page says whether a yearly plan is refundable after day 14, so ask which billing and refund wording applies.

How Lead Recorder's start compares with rival trials

  • CallRail: every account starts with a 14-day free trial, no credit card needed; trial usage over the allowance shows on the first invoice.
  • Nimbata: no credit card required, with a 14-day trial on every plan.
  • WhatConverts: a 14-day free trial offered on each plan card.
  • CallTrackingMetrics (CTM): no trial line on its pricing page, and sign-up asks for a credit card for an initial payment.

Start Lead Recorder's trial when leads arrive by form and phone tap and the source of each is the question. Pick CallRail for a 14-day trial of call recording and a different tracking number for each visitor, and Nimbata for a 14-day trial of a plan billed per answered call. To count calls with no trial at all, start with free call tracking software.
