CallRail alternatives: what you would be replacing
The main CallRail alternatives are WhatConverts, Nimbata, CallTrackingMetrics (CTM) and Lead Recorder, with Google's free call reporting as the baseline and Invoca by quote. As read on November 1, 2026, CallRail's entry plan, Lead Tracking, is $55 a month billed monthly or $50 a month billed yearly, plus usage.
Usage means the numbers, minutes and texts a plan charges beyond what it includes. Monthly rates, billed monthly or yearly: Lead Tracking Complete $105 or $95, Lead Conversion $165 or $150 and Lead Conversion Complete $215 or $195, each plus usage. All four include 5 local numbers, 250 local minutes with transcription and 25 texts; extras cost $3 a local number and $0.06 a local minute. On a yearly plan the 12-month base fee is due at once.
Number swapping, also called dynamic number insertion, shows each visitor a different phone number so a call can be tied to a visit. CallRail ticks it, with recording, on all four plans.
CallRail, WhatConverts, Nimbata and CTM each add usage to the plan price, so an entry figure in the table is not a full monthly bill.
| Alternative | Entry price and basis | What it drops or adds |
|---|---|---|
| WhatConverts | Call Tracking $30 a month plus usage, billed monthly only | Keeps swapping and recording; forms start at Plus, $60 a month |
| Nimbata | Entry $0 plus usage; Pro $39 a month, $35 on annual billing | Entry drops number swapping and recordings; billed per answered call |
| CallTrackingMetrics | Marketing Lite $79 a month, $65 a month billed yearly, plus usage | No numbers or minutes included; recording free on all plans |
| Lead Recorder | Business $39 a month, or $390 a year | Add-on logs calls at $29 a month; no recording or swapping |
| Google Ads call reporting | Website forwarding numbers at no cost; ad clicks billed as always | Free baseline; recording needs both parties in the U.S. or Canada |
| Invoca | By quote; tiers Pro, Enterprise and Elite | Dynamic numbers from Pro; aimed at brands and agencies |

Try Lead Recorder, no card needed →WhatConverts: number swapping at a lower entry price
WhatConverts' entry plan, Call Tracking, is $30 a month, billed monthly only, with a $30 usage credit, a monthly credit against usage charges. It keeps number swapping and recording but covers calls and texts only: forms and chat start on Plus at $60 a month, at 10 cents a lead.
An additional local number is $2.50 and an additional local minute 4.5 cents.
Nimbata and CallTrackingMetrics: usage billed on top of the plan fee
Nimbata bills one rate per answered call at any length. Entry is $0 plus usage but has no number swapping, recordings or Google Ads connection; Pro is $39 a month billed monthly or $35 a month billed annually, plus usage. On Pro, usage is $3.20 a local number and $0.06 an answered call.
CTM bills Marketing Lite at $79 a month billed monthly or $65 a month billed yearly, plus usage, and its plans include no numbers or minutes: a local number is $2 a month and a local minute $0.04. Its entry plan costs more than CallRail's before usage, $79 against $55 billed monthly. Priced below CallRail's $55 billed monthly, each plus usage, are WhatConverts at $30, Nimbata Pro at $39 and Nimbata Entry at $0.
Lead Recorder: when forms and taps matter more than recorded calls
Lead Recorder's Business plan is $39 a month, or $390 a year, for one site with unlimited leads. A lead is a form submission, phone-number tap or booking recorded with its source, and form tracking and phone taps come on every plan. A tap opens the dialer and does not prove a call.
Real calls cost extra. The call tracking add-on is $29 a month for 2 tracking numbers and 150 call minutes in the US, Canada or Australia, and it does not record, transcribe or swap the number for each visitor. It fits a form-led site where calls come second, not a CallRail replacement; Lead Recorder vs CallRail sets the two side by side.
Free and quote-only options: Google's call reporting and Invoca
Google Ads offers the no-cost route. Its call reporting counts a call by recording analysis or by a minimum length you set, and forwarding numbers on a website come without any cost to you; ad clicks are billed as always. Free call tracking software shows how far that baseline goes.
Invoca is priced by quote only, in three tiers: Pro, Enterprise and Elite. Its pricing page lists dynamic numbers, its name for number swapping, from Pro.
